Dermapen
What is Dermapen?
Dermapen is a micro-needling device that uses 12 micro-needles to stamp the skin, injuring the skin in the affected area. The purpose of these micro-injuries that are created with the micro-needling is to trigger the body’s natural response to heal itself, and in the process stimulate an increase in collagen production. It is a cutting-edge alternative to traditional skin needling rollers and promotes scarless healing while improving the condition of the skin.
How does Dermapen work?
The Dermapen tip is built with 12 micro-needles that are used to pierce the top layer of the skin. The device is positioned vertically on top of the skin that needs to be treated. Using fine precision control, the needles will puncture the skin in a rapid manner and with a slight rotation to efficiently open the pores as the skin is injured. The superficial wounds trigger the body’s ability to rejuvenate and promote collagen production, resulting in smoother and plumper skin.
Dermapen can be used to injure the affected area to facilitate the healing process. This, in turn, stimulates the skin to replace the damaged tissue with the growth of new skin.
The depth of needle penetration can be adjusted by our professional therapists, providing you with a customised treatment that best suits your skin’s needs. This revolutionary device is designed to treat even hard to reach areas such as those around the lips, eyes, and nose.
